Health Guarantee

Puppy is defined here to be an Alaskan malamute puppy which is in good health at the time of transfer, and embodies the characteristics of the Alaskan Malamute breed.  The Puppy is purebred and can be registered by the American Kennel Club.  The Breeder guarantees the above described dog to be healthy at the time of sale.  The Breeder does not assume any liability for any injury to said puppy after delivery.  The Buyer agrees to have this puppy will be examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery, or all guarantees will be null and void.

 

If the puppy is found to be other than healthy by the Buyer’s veterinarian, it shall be

returned to the Breeder immediately, and the puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal or greater value. Deadline for this replacement is 72 hours after time of the Buyer’s vet check. 

The Breeder does not pay for any vet bills when the puppy is in the hands of the Buyer.  The Buyer accepts responsibility of all vet bills during the duration of the puppy’s life.

All appropriate shots for the puppy’s age have been given, and a record of this

Vaccination history is supplied.

 

This puppy has a 2-year guarantee against genetic defects causing death. In case of death the Breeder will replace dog, with a puppy of equal value.  All Veterinarian records are required to be sent to the Breeder prior to any replacement, for the Breeders Vet to review.

The Buyer agrees to maintain the puppy’s health in good condition, and to provide

yearly examinations, vaccinations, heart-worm tests, and any other usual procedures necessary to assure good health of the puppy.

The Breeder does not guarantee fertility on puppies sold with full registration. The

breeder has done everything possible to produce healthy sound puppies both by

breeding only dogs (parents) registered by the AKC and by raising the puppies in the best way possible in regards to diet, exercise, socialization and veterinary care. Ther are many factors that can influence growth and development, such as diet, exercise, weight gain, etc. The Buyer assumes the responsibility to carry on with the appropriate vaccinations, exercise and feeding schedule, as is appropriate to the Alaskan Malamute breed.

The Breeder can offer no further guarantees once the care of the puppy is no longer under the control of the Breeder.  The Buyer agrees that neither he / she nor the Buyer Estate / executors may sell this puppy or transfer ownership of this puppy without the Breeders knowledge and written consent.  We rarely allow Full registration for our puppies If you purchase full registration and then are unable to keep your puppy and choose to sell it the puppy’s registration will be changed to limited.  No full registration puppies may be sold without full consent of Beartooth’s Alaskan Malamutes (Breeder). The Buyer hereby agrees that if at any time the Buyer cannot take proper care of the puppy, the Buyer must contact the Breeder and the Breeder will have the first choice to either: (a) take puppy back or (b) assist the Buyer in finding a suitable home for the puppy. The Buyer agrees to notify the Breeder of any changes of address during the puppy’s lifetime.

 

Beartooth’s Alaskan Malamutes neither makes nor implies any warranties or guaranties express or implies, other than those written in this agreement including, without limitation, the warranties of merchantability and fitness.  This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Breeder and Buyer with respect to this sale.  The Buyers signature below indicates that he / she has read, agrees and does understand all the conditions of the sales agreement and contract of this sale.
